Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the late 1970s. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. She then moved on to television and film. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big role in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral part of her work. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. In addition, she played in Numbered Day, a podcast consisting of four audio plays. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on his relationship with Skyler is mirrored in the series.
